Computer Consulting Training Web Design/Development Freelance Writing/Editing What's New!
4-Jul-99 I currently have two major projects going forward. The first (and largest) is a book I'm wrting for SAMS, tentatively titled
Teach Yourself DNS and BIND in 24 Hours. The book is scheduled for release in December, 1999. The second major project is another book, this one for Digital Press, tentatively titled Storage
Management for Compaq Tru64 UNIX. While that book is obviously much narrower in scope than the DNS book, it is still a fun project, and hopefully will be profitable as well.
I'll be back on the road in the fall, doing training for the Institute for Software Advancement. I'll be teaching classes in Compaq Tru64 UNIX, and some Windows
NT as well. Of course, ISA won't be taking up all of my time, so if you are in need of a consultant or a trainer, feel free to e-mail me and let's discuss your needs.
I've established a relationship with AccessZone, a web design and hosting company
in Missouri. I'll be doing various network support tasks and development jobs for them, particularly programming work using Cold Fusion. This promises to be a fun
working relationship and one that could be very profitable for us both in the long run. It won't be full-time work at the moment, though, so if you're in need of a network
support guy, trainer, or web developer/programmer, by all means check out my resume and e-mail
me if you have work I can handle. While I'm not looking for work that involves re-location, a little travel never hurt anybody.
In addition to this new relationship with AccessZone, I'm still quite active with the folks at Internet Marketing International, and NOLA-Market, which is where this domain (yatcom.com) is located
