Referee Resources

ref-shir.gif (1275 bytes)

I am a USSF Grade 8 referee. I decided to become a referee this year, mainly because it was the best way I could think of to contribute to the my son’s youth league. Before getting into computers full-time, I was a high-school teacher. I view youth referees as kindred spirits to teachers. They both have a common goal: help the kids learn and keep them under control.

While there are several great referee pages already on the Web, I discovered that there wasn’t a page which gave the person looking to become a referee some direction. That’s the purpose of YatSoccer’s Referee Resource. We’ll take you though what you need to get started. From there, we can safely turn you over to the myriad of sources available in net-land.

So, to learn more about becoming a soccer referee, click on the Getting Started link in the menu, and have fun!
