Louisiana's slogan is "Sportsman's Paradise." New Orleans' reputation of being a party town is carried into our sports. Whether it's brunch before a Saints' game, or a picnic out at Lafreniere Park while watching the kids play soccer, or a Sunday afternoon out watching the Zephyrs, New Orleanians enjoy sporting events. In spite of the characterization of yats like Vic Broussard, many New Orleanians actually like to play sports as well. Cycling, softball, flag football, adult soccer and running are some of the few activities yats pursue.
