Top Ten Things for Kids in
New Orleans
Honorable Mentions

Mardi Gras and Jazz Fest
Since these are seasonal events rather than
"things to do," I hesitate putting them
into the list. Still, both festivals are
wonderful places to take the kids. Sure, you
don't want to bring children into the Quarter
during Carnival, but parades in Mid-City and
Uptown are truly family events. Jazz Fest is
great for kids. Not only is there the Children's
Tent, but the food, crafts, activities, and all
the music around the Fair Grounds is a treat for
the senses of youngsters as well as adults.
