Confederate Museum

The second largest Confederate museum in the US, it contains memorbilia of the Civil War as well as personal effects of CSA President Jefferson Davis, General Robert E. Lee, and other Confederate leaders.

Tuesday-Saturday 10am-4:45pm. Guided Tours at 10, 11, 2, and 3. Admission: $2. Special exhibits in the main gallery are free.

Located within a complex of historic buildings, the Collection serves the public as a museum and research center for state and local history. Tours of the founders' residence and the Louisiana history galleries bring to life the state's exciting and colorful past.
