It's Carnival Time! From January 6th to Fat Tuesday (the day before Ash Wednesday, which is approximately 40 days before Easter Sunday), New Orleans enters its largest and most intense festival period. About two weeks prior to Fat Tuesday, there is a parade somewhere in the metro area every night up until the big day. If you're coming to town for Carnival, or if you've been here before, or even if you've just dreamed of being here, come with us on a journey through what Mardi Gras in New Orleans is all about.
