For visitors who plan to do a lot of sightseeing on the bus, the RTA's VisiTour Pass is a great bargain. A one-day pass costs $4.00 and a three-day pass $8.00. The days do not have to be consecutive. The pass is valid on all lines except those in Kenner. Check with the concierge at your hotel, or call the RideLine to purchase a pass in advance.

These are the most frequently used bus lines by tourists (the numbers are the RTA route numbers):

• 1 Easy Rider Downtown Shuttle
• 2 Riverfront Streetcar
• 3 Vieux Carre' Shuttle
• 11 Magazine Street Line
• 12 St. Charles Streetcar
• 41-43 Canal Street Lines
• 48 Esplanade Line
