This is the premier dining room of the restaurant. Named for the King of Carnival, the Rex Room is where the School of Design gathers on Proteus Monday (as well as other times during the year) to toast their king and queen. Like the Proteus Room, the walls are lined with mementos of Carnivals past. Unlike the Proteus Room, however, this dining room is less intimate and much more formal. This is where royalty are entertained, even if they are royalty only for a day. There is no more exciting and enjoyable dining experience than a black-tie dinner in the Rex Room.
