Have worked with UNIX since 1984,
beginning with XENIX on Radio Shack systems, moving into work with SCO, AIX, and Compaq Tru64 UNIX (formerly Digital UNIX), and Linux.

Have installed/configured/supported Compaq/Digital AlphaServer systems ranging in size from Workstation 200s to GS80 multiprocessor servers, running Tru64 UNIX (versions 4.0x, 5.x, TruCluster 1.x, 5.x. I teach courses in System Administration, Performance Management, TruCluster Configuration, and Network Administration 2-3 weeks a month for the Institute for Software Advancement. In addition to teaching, I do on-site consulting work, on stand-alone and TruCluster systems. Extensive experience with Compaq StorageWorks solutions for the AlphaServer platform, particularly the HSZ/HSG line of RAID controllers. Experience with Fibre-Channel Storage Area Network technology using the HSG80.

been working with Novell NetWare since 1986 and Windows
NT since its initial release. Experience with all

Internet sites since 1986.
Have installed, configured, and supported NT-based
internet service and web hosting sites, using a number
of different web server packages (IIS, WebSite,
Netscape). Currently am hostmaster of yatcom.com and
nola-market.com, which run on a Windows NT LAN connected
to the Internet via ISDN. Maintain name servers for a number of domains, using BIND (4.x and 8.x) as well as Microsoft's DNS system. Knowledge of many other IP-related programs, both on UNIX/Linux and NT systems.
Extensive experience with BBS installation,
configuration, UUCP/USENET administration, remote
access, micro-mainframe connectivity. Have implemented
electronic mail (e-mail) systems for both small and
large sites. Experience with SMTP-based mail systems (Sendmail/Qmail), Exchange Server, a number of
POP3 clients, as well as LISTSERV. Founding

NetObjects Fusion, FrontPage, as well as raw HTML coding using
various text and HTML editors. Currently develop
and support sites using Allaire's ColdFusion (using

with both Access and SQL Server. |
